Share Your World – Week 14

Oh, my gosh, I can’t believe how long it’s been since I’ve actually done one of these! (May, I had to look it up.) Life’s been busily moving forward, and I guess I can’t complain about that, but I sure am glad Cee keeps these links active indefinitely, because they are just too much fun!

If you had to describe your day as a traffic sign, what would it be?

No U-Turn.  It seems like I’m always running behind and can never get back the time I’ve lost.  Kind of like missing that turn and having to travel a few blocks out of your way before you can turn around and go back, because of that stupid median they put down the center of the road.

Is your hair short (total neck and ear showing), medium (covering ears and neck), long (below shoulders), extra long (at least halfway down your back) or bald?

Long, and I need to get it cut again, because it’s also thick and gives me headaches.  Right now it’s below my shoulder blades, but I prefer it closer to the top of them.

When you are with your friends, do your interactions include much touching—for example, hugging, kissing, rough housing, rubbing backs? Would you like to have more of this? (Note: the answers may vary depending on where you live on this wonderful planet.)

It depends on which friend I’m with, though I’m never offended or put off by contact from those I love.  I think some people are just more naturally affectionate than others.  I’m fortunate enough to have 2 Besties,  and have no qualms plopping down in either one of their laps and giving them a big kiss on the cheek and since we’ve all known each other since we were kids, there’s been plenty of years of us rough housing!  🙂  Sometimes, when we’ve had too much Fireball or wine, that still happens…

What do you feel is the most enjoyable way to spend $100? 

Taking my kids to dinner and the movies, it’s one of our favorite pastimes.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I’ve been in the process of packing and getting ready to move all this last week, and now I’m looking forward to actually moving (hopefully) starting Friday!
