Happy Veteran’s Day!

I am a Daughter of the American Revolution.

Descended from soldiers who fought in both World Wars.

Had family that fought on both sides of the Civil War.

Grew up as an Army brat to a father, uncles, aunts and cousins who are Veterans of the Vietnam War.

Have cousins, friends and brother-in-laws who fought in the Gulf War and the conflicts in the Middle East since.

Today, I would just like to give thanks to all of those who have made my existence possible.  I am honored to have your blood running through my veins, to have been a part of a world that is a culture all its own, and to extend my thanks to those who continue to serve our country today.
