#RocktoberMusicfest ♪ “Rebel Yell” – Billy Idol

I don’t have any specific memories tied to this song or video, but if you’re going to do an entire month of rock songs, you have to include Billy Idol. The greatest thing ever about Billy in the 80’s was that he never had to try to be a badass, he just appeared on the scene that way, and as a bonus had a really appealing voice. I think many rock fans can agree that’s the ultimate combo. “White Wedding” is my other favorite, I was just feeling the rebel more today. Enjoy…and don’t forget to count those fist pumps! 😛

    You want to know what is really wild? I almost went with this same song today! We definitely have the same taste in music. This is so much fun. I am certain that I will be doing this again next year.

    Melody,

    Billy Idol is a big name in the rock n’ roll arena. I guess I never considered myself a true fan but like most artists they always have something I like. I don’t remember this song. Google tells me this track is from his second album with the same title but it’s “Eyes Without A Face” on this album that I remember most. Now, you got me curious as to what other Idol titles I might like. Mez will check this out! Have a tunetastic weekend, dearie!

      Thanks, Cathy! I never considered myself a huge fan, either, since I only like a small handful of his songs. “Eyes Without a Face” is another good one.
