Cover Reveal!

Eee!!! I’m so excited to finally be able to share the new Avarice covers with you all!

This project took quite a long time and the cover saw many changes throughout the process. Every single layer of it was a challenge in some way. I had to make the Arcane Wheel by using a generic wheel as the foundation and finding or creating the sigils, then adding the names so it was customized for the Hell on Earth series.

I spent countless hours over the past several months jumping back and forth between Canva and Gimp to get everything just right. And then, when I thought it was all done, I realized it was the wrong color.

I had been misinformed on which color represented each of the 7 Deadly Sins. Turns out the color for Greed is universally accepted as yellow. Uh, newsflash: I’m not a fan of yellow. It is very rare for me to look at something that’s yellow and think, “Oh, that looks good.”

So, I cheated a little and decided to make the color closer to a pale gold than yellow. I figure that’s more apt for Greed, anyway. Now, the covers are finally complete and just in time for a proper reveal:

What do you think? I know I’m not a pro, but I think they turned out pretty damn good! Of course, I’m biased. #Sorrynotsorry. Now, hopefully these beauties will start attracting the proper audience, which the old covers failed to do.

Since Avarice is already available, I won’t be hosting a major book launch. I’m just going to be publishing this newly revised edition next month as a birthday present for myself. So, you’ll be able to find it at your favorite book retail site by December 12, 2022.
